Importance of Time Management for NEET – UG Preparation

“I can solve all the questions, but time - it passed too soon.” “How do I solve the questions in limited time?” “If I had got more time, I had solve maximum questions.”

These lines are common to hear whenever the medical aspirants share their NEET exam experiences. National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts NEET exam each year in all over India and time duration for this exam is 3 hours and 20 minutes in which about 200 questions are asked from three subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Despite considering the allotted time duration as standard, many students are unable to crack the exam in the given time frame. In fact, it has been seen that most of the applicants fail to get the adequate marks because they find themselves juggling with time while solving the paper. This’s why top faculties instruct to give extra emphasis on speed accuracy and time management.

Time management is one of the key factors which can affect your scores if not managed efficiently. For solving the maximum questions in 200 minutes, there are some points to keep in mind which can enable you in a better way. Like,

a) Keep the watch beside you while solving the questions – According to the allotted time by NTA, you are given 1 minute (60 seconds) for solving every single question. So, when you practice the sample papers, keep eyes on every second and check the duration of time you took to solve the question. This will avail you to monitor the time and improve the speed accuracy.

b) Practice makes a man perfect – This’s not just a saying. When you are preparing for one of the prestigious exams – NEET (UG), you have to gear up for rigorous practice in which every single second matters. So, make the routine you can follow easily. And setup your mind for exam and embark the preparation today.

c) Test series for improving speed accuracy – No matter what, however never miss any single test. These test series are planned and designed in such a way that works on your speed accuracy and enable you for an upcoming exam. Not only this, test series and mock tests check your performance also on various levels, such as conceptual clarity, problem solving skills and more.

d) Allot the time for doing preparation as well as staying healthy – While preparing, escape from over burdening yourself as well as neglecting your health. For achieving the goal, your health matters a lot. Therefore, keep your mind, body and soul completely fresh and relaxed.

Author’s Bio – These ideas have been shared by a renowned faculty at Chaitanya’s Academy located in Baramati. He has been teaching NEET aspirants for a decade and is known for giving phenomenal results in the exam.

Importance of Concept Clarity for NEET Exam

NEET aspirants are often matted with the burden of “syllabus completion” right from day 1. And since there is no dearth of variety of textbooks in the market, they feel more confused and keep switching to number of books. However, unfortunately not everyone gets the right set. And in the race of completing the syllabus on the time, most of the students overlook the importance of conceptual clarity which results in low scores in the exam.

When it comes to medical entrance exam, conceptual clarity is something which you can neither take lightly, nor overlook. After all, it’s resonated with your syllabus. Then, what to do? How to gain better understanding of concepts and make the preparation result-oriented? Let’s begin with

What is conceptual clarity?

Also known as clarity of concepts, this term is defined as the deep knowledge of a particular concept and its every aspect in natural and understandable way. It involves in depth understanding of reason behind topic’s existence, its meaning, process and results.

How to improve conceptual clarity while studying?

Since you are preparing for NEET exam, every concept would be related to it. Therefore, read each and every single concept by self. Give sufficient time to understand them. If any question pops up in mind while reading, note down immediately to address under the guidance of your faculty. If you feel like you are not getting a concept, try to read it twice or thrice. If still you don’t get it, ask your faculty. Get habituated to solve maximum problems related to the concept you are studying. For that, refer to other books also. After solving, check the answers by self. If there’s something wrong, consult the faculty.

How to find you lack conceptual clarity?

“Do you experience problem in solving questions?” “Despite studying for hours, do you feel lack of understanding?” If yes to anyone of these, you need proper guidance and subtle process for concept clarity. For this, attend our demo classes where we analyze the learning ability of students and design the study plan according to that.

We introduce our students to comprehensive study process, need of rigorous practice along with conceptual clarity in an effective and efficient way. For making the entire process more smooth, we provide specially curated study materials that cover precise detail, several solving techniques with quick trick and more.

Cracking the NEET exam is not that hard, if you know the right way of study which starts with conceptual clarity. So, all the best!

Chaitanya’s Academy is transforming the teaching style. Have a look!

Let’s begin with general assumption –

Some students learn everything very easily and fast – they are born brilliant. While, some take ages to understand simple things – they don’t have interest in studies.

These believe are very much common, when it comes to children and their studies. However, this’s not the fact. Main thing that differentiates one child from another is their learning capacity. One learns faster, while another one is completely contrary to him. Even these things can be seen in some schools too, where fast learners get more priority in comparison to slow learners. However, not all schools practice such techniques. In fact, some schools have acquired the new teaching techniques to avail students in their studies on the basis of their learning abilities.

Before shedding more light on this new teaching technique, let’s discover “what is this learning ability”?

“Learning ability is the ability to learn, understand, focus, sustain it, pay attention and function which differs in two peoples.”

Since all children are not same because of their learning styles, some schools in Baramati are transforming their teaching technique and have started practicing new technique that is based on learning abilities of students.

Chaitanya’s Academy is on the top in this list, which is practicing an individualized approach while teaching and giving special emphasis on the learning abilities of students. This helps them to teach all students with same perspective and enable them in gaining the understanding and knowledge of all subjects.

They plan their teaching pattern in such a way that aims to improve the students’ performance without overlooking their learning capacities. For making their technique more fruitful, they utilize online study module with traditional classroom teaching which promote the development of attention and learning systems. This motivates students to learn new skills, improve the concentration level and learn efficiently. Along with this, teachers get access to weak and strong points of students and teach accordingly.

Therefore, understand the level of your child’s learning ability and enroll him at the right educational center for a better future.
