Difference between Preparation & Result Oriented Preparation in the exam of IIT-JEE

IIT-JEE is the prestigious exam which is conducted for short listing the aspirants in the top Indian Institute of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NIT) and other renowned engineering colleges. For clearing this challenging exam, almost every student does their best on their levels, but unfortunately very few get the desired exam.
 



One question that arises here is “what different do top scorers do that others need to do also?” That one is result oriented preparation. Difference in the level of preparation and practice is the main reason because of which most of the aspirants fail to get the high marks.

But, what difference do preparation & result oriented preparation have? Let’s see

a) Most of the students prioritize certain chapters and topics in comparison to others. Whereas, students who do result oriented preparation first figure out the complete syllabus of the exam, understand the exam pattern and then, make the full list of topics to complete.

b) Normal Preparation – A lot of students assume that they have sufficient time to do the practice. Whereas, students who do result oriented preparation, count every second and start their practice thoroughly.

c) Interested in this exam, some students begin their preparation early by joining the foundation courses in junior classes. While other start thinking about the exam from class 11 which results in mental stress.

d) One of the foremost reasons because of which most of the students fail to qualify this kind of exam is lack of proper routine. They don’t follow any routine. While some students dedicate themselves by making the systematic study routine and following the same strictly.

e) Just studying for long hours will not place you in the merit list. Students who are determined to qualify the exam, focus on quality study.

f) In search of right preparation, practice and performance, students join the coaching institute. But, prefer to those quality institutes which focus on result oriented preparation.
